Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hilary, a dear friend and colleague recently passed away after suffering from a brain tumour. Hilary was one of the kindest, most thoughtful and caring people I have ever known and even when she was suffering so much herself, she would constantly make reference to how lucky she was in comparison to those in the third world who struggle every day to find enough food to eat and water to drink.

She supported this charity (Practical Action) who work together with people and their communities to find practical solutions to the poverty they face. Their vision is to create a sustainable world, free of poverty and injustice in which technology is used for the benefit of all. They use simple, innovative ideas to help people change their lives for the better.

We though this would be a fitting way for us to remember Hilary and would like to encourage you to give any amount, be it large or small to this worthwhile charity.
