We provide expert care and support to young people with cancer

Story

Welcome to the HR4.5 2014 Annual Charity Run fundraising page.

A sobering fact - 6 teenagers are diagnosed with cancer every day.  To put it another way, the equivalent of our entire student body (and more) will be diagnosed with cancer in just one year. Currently teenagers are treated on adult or children's wards, but the TCT aims to change all that by building units specifically designed to meet the needs of teenagers and to give them as normal a life as possible during their treatment.

In the last few years Hills Road Sixth Form College has raised over £35000 for Teenage Cancer Trust at Addenbrookes Hospital Cambridge. On April 23rd, staff and students will once again don their running shoes to run, walk, hop and skip round a 4.5km course to help raise even more for this fantastic charity.

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of ARM Ltd we will be highly visible in our bright yellow HR4.5 2014 t shirts complete with logo designed by one of our students.

Please support our efforts by sponsoring us through this site. Any donation no matter how small will help us to reach our target and support the TCT. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity.

So dig deep and donate now. Please.
