As you may know, I am planning to volunteer for 8 weeks in the summer (mid June - mid August), in India as part of the Hope for children charity foundation.

As part of the programme I will be involved in;
◦    Building awareness in the community about the problem of child labour
◦    Providing the children with basic reading and writing skills
◦    Providing non formal education to child laborers
◦    Income generating programmes
◦    Providing education about health and hygiene
◦    Recreational helps such as music, games, outing, picnics, yoga
