HIV/AIDS is having a devastating effect on all aspects of life in Ghana, South Africa and Uganda.
With assistance from LCD, schools are creating policies and action plans to tackle the many problems surrounding HIV and AIDS. This means not only preventing the spread of HIV through awareness-raising, but also providing care and support to families in need.

This special appeal has been set up to raise funds for LCD's HIV/AIDS work. This will help provide schools with HIV/AIDS resources and the training which goes with them. This ensures that schools are addressing the epidemic within the context of their school and the wider community.
