We are a lifesaving emergency service to the people across East Anglia

Story

Staff at both HMP Bure and HMP Norwich have been deeply saddened by the lost of a cherished colleague Steve Thompson in a traggic motorbike accident. together we will be completing events to raise money in his name for the air ambulance. The first event of many has now been arranged. Staff from Bure, Norwich and Wayland will be completing at Half marathon on the 21st September. Starting At Norwich Hospital Heli-pad running to The Bure via the Air Ambulance HQ. So far over 80 staff have signed up to take part. Please get behind them by making a donation in Thommo's memory. Further events to come..... Second event Race night 21st September 2012 7pm Dilham Coss keys £6.50 a person, race card and hog roast included. Call Dilham Cross keys or get in touch with the Air Ambulance. Help us make it a success by attending and having fun with the runners who will be acheing lots.

3rd Event.

20 volenteers from HMP Bure will now be completing a half marathon with in the establishment. 60 laps of the exercise yards. Good luck to all of them.

East Anglian Air Ambulance is a 24/7 helicopter emergency medical service covering Beds, Cambs, Norfolk and Suffolk. EAAA doesn't receive regular government funding, each mission costs on average £3,750 and we need to raise £17m a year from charitable donations to continue our lifesaving service.
