Sadly there are times when doctors and nurses have to break very upsetting and life changing news to families. They may need to tell them of their child's life-limiting diagnosis or they may need help understanding their child's treatment.

Normally this is done in the office of the Doctor, a playroom, or a hospital cubicle with a curtain drawn round it. 

Magnolia house will be a building in the hospital gardens that will provide a safe haven and give families time to be together before they feel ready to face the world again.
