The COINS Foundation funds projects offering relief to vulnerable and disadvantaged people. We make grants to organisations that can demonstrate the investment tangibly improves the lives of many, in a sustainable way. In particular, projects focusing on construction, education and technically innovative projects for learning and enablement.

The Coins 3 Peaks Challenge is the classic mountain challenge exclusively for the Construction Industry. The event starts on Saturday at Ben Nevis in the Scottish Highlands, moving to Scafell Pike in the Lake District and ends 24 hours later at the foot of Snowdon in North Wales.

In 2008 the aim is for the event to continue to grow, for the distribution of funds to widen and to increasingly move towards supporting organisations with a focus on construction projects that address the needs of impoverished and less privileged people around the world. Funds will continue to be donated to CARE International. In addition funds raised will support Habitat for Humanity, who's aim is to tackle poverty housing on a global scale and SteppingOn who's aim is to improve outcomes for vulnerable, disadvantaged and disabled children and young people worldwide.
