Message from the team:

PLEASE DONATE NOW!!!!. .

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page

The team has so far raised £4425.00 for Ronald McDonald House at Alder Hey Hospital.  A big thank you to everyone who has already donated and a big reminder to those who haven't that this page will remain open until 17th October 2010 for your donation.

The homebuy team have successfully completed the Three Peaks Challenge.

The challenge, to climb the highest mountains in Wales, England and Scotland in a 24 hour period, involves climbing over 11,000ft.

Walking with a team from our financial advisors (Orbis) Steve and Dave, along with additional support from our principle investor (Endless) and our main supplier (Sanyo), began the climb of Snowdon shortly before 8am on Friday morning, completing the descent of Ben Nevis just after 10am on Saturday.

The team successfully completed the climbing almost an hour under the 14 hours required, but poor traffic conditions between North Wales and the Lake District meant that the 24 hour target was out of reach.

Challenge:-

In conjunction with our principle investor (Endless) Steve, Dave and Raoul, along with additional support from our main supplier (Sanyo) and our financial advisors (Orbis), have taken up the challenge of attempting the “Three Peaks” - that is to climb the three highest peaks in our fair land (Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis) within 24 hours – OUCH!!

The challenge will start on 16 and finish on 17 July so we would appreciate your support for our chosen charity – Ronald McDonald House at Alder Hey Hospital.  This was the suggestion of Denis Sudlow who had firsthand experience of the charity and their support when his son, Joe, was born.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
