Breast Cancer UK is a small charity, registered in 2001, dedicated to the primary prevention of breast cancer, nationally and internationally. The focus of our No More Breast Cancer Campaign is on environmental pollutants as one of the underlying causes of the rising incidence of the disease.

Thank you for visiting the Medoc Marathon website to raise funds for No More Breast Cancer.

About No More Breast Cancer

In 2007 alone,another 43,000 women will be diagnosed with Breast Cancer in the UK,causing heartache for them,their families and their friends as they battle with the disease.

Aside from this worrying statistic which continues to climb each year,it is particularly concerning that at least 50% of cases have no obvious attributable cause.

No More Breast Cancer,a charity dedicated to the prevention of breast cancer,strongly believes that environmental factors are linked to the disease. It requires continued support for its campaign to eliminate all harmful substances in the environment which can contribute to breast cancer.For more information,please go to nomorebreastcancer.org.uk
