My story

Deadline: On a monthly, rolling basis. We need £536 / month. September 2009 - August 2010 (thats one year). Here is a breakdown of the amounts and deadlines for the next few months to ensure we can carry on feeding them. (feeding started 10 Sept)

Orphan: - We define them as being a child whose parents are both dead or a child whose father (breadwinner) is dead.

IMAGINE THESE ARE YOUR OWN CHILDREN. We currently feed 10 VERY poor, vulnerable,  orphan children a hot lunch daily, in southern Bangladesh. BUT Now we want to feed 38 orphans every day. Thats nearly 28,000 lunches and dinners combined over one year. It will cost 46 pence per child per day. Thats about £536 a month, or £6,432 for the year. We can only feed them if money is there, otherwise we have no choice but to turn many away - so please help with anything you can afford. We need £536 monthly.

Process: We will cook them hot lunches 6 days a week and give them food to take away for dinner to share with siblings. Once a week, they will be given a takeaway in order to give our cooks, staff and the orphans a rest (some orphans will walk a great distance to collect food and they need a break too)  

So please kindly come forward to feed these little ones from September 2009 - August 2010. They are very poor and often struggle to eat.  We show you monthly photo updates, and we encourage you to see our previous work which is all on our website. We in the UK take NO MONEY for ourselves. All of the money will go towards feeding them.
