About our charity : Dreams Come True Charity Dreams Come True Charity
Dreams Come True is a UK children’s charity whose sole purpose is to fulfil the dreams of terminally and seriously ill children and young people aged 2 to 21. In the last twenty years we have helped make over 3500 dreams come true and as a result debilitating illness, painful treatment and an uncertain future have been transformed with happiness, fun and wonderful, everlasting memories. You can make a world of difference by helping us make more dreams become a reality. If we can find a way to make a dream come true we will as we believe the only limit is a child’s imagination.

Our personal message:

The first ever UK Forum All-Star weekend will be taking place at IceSheffield over the weekend of the 19th and 20th July. This weekend will see hockey fans from up and down the country compete for the title of ‘best of the best’.

Starting in the afternoon, there will be a music and skate session at IceSheffield, exclusive to those attending the UKF All-Stars weekend. Skate hire can be arranged and that will cost £1.60 per person.

The main event will take place in the evening where two teams will take place. 3 x 20 mins periods will be played, to decide who will go home as champions. For those watching the game, there will be a raffle, and a chuck-a-puck to take part in.

We want everyone who will come to this weekend, to enjoy themselves, and to benefit from meeting up with friends during the summer. However we do not want the people to be the only benefactors. That is why all the funds that are raised during the weekend will be donated to the charity Dreams Come True, a charity which does use Ice Hockey throughout their charity work.

I take to the ice, risking life and limb, battling for the All Star Indians against the All Star Cowboys.  Surely a propspect worth donating a couple of pounds for!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Dreams Come True Charity gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
