Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Every year I cycle a bit further around the coast of Britain. Last year I thought it was about time I did it for a good cause and ended up raising lots of cash for a great charity(http://www.justgiving.com/ians-cycle) Thanks again to those who supported me and Dreams Come True last year.
This year I'm off again from Whitby to Edinburgh (12th-15th September) and this time it's in memory of a very dear friend and colleague - Gavin Harry, who tragically died in May. Gav, a total legend, made my world a richer, funnier and brighter place to be. He had this effect on everyone he knew and we all miss him terribly.
Gav had a little bit of a stammer that no one really noticed (unless he was a bit hungover!) so his amazing parents and girlfriend suggested that rather than buying flowers, donations could go to the British Stammering Asssociation (BSA).
Gav sat opposite me at work for 3 or so years and I think about him everyday. Despite this I realised that I hadn't actually made any donation yet... Hence this page! And I get to be the first to donate (about time too!)
The BSA's vision is "A world that understands stammering" and is the only national organisation for adults and children who stammer, run by people who stammer. To find out more about this amazing charity click here.
I 'd love it if you could join me in supporting this great charity.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep if you can.
