This will be 3rd London Marathon in 4 years. With over a million people lining the streets of London the atmosphere is brilliant and the lift they give you, particularly when you're absolutely shattered, is amazing. This year I've set myself two challenging targets. The first is try and dip under 3 hours for the first time. The 2nd, which is probably more realistic and where you can really help, is to raise £1,000 for Hearing Dogs for the Deaf, a brilliant national charity whose Headquarters is just down the road at Saunderton, near High Wycombe.
Hearing Dogs for Deaf People was launched at the world famous Crufts Dog Show in 1982. Since then they have continued to train dogs to alert deaf people to specific sounds, whether in the home, workplace or public buildings.
