Communication is the fundamental skill for learning and development. It affects our ability to learn, form relationships and make friends. Yet, one in ten children (or 1.2 million) has a communication disability in the UK. That’s almost three in every classroom. Without the right help, at the right time, they will be left out and left behind.

I CAN provides services to support communication development for all children, and offers a combination of specialist therapy and education for children with the most severe and complex disabilities. We support children in schools and nurseries across the UK and help parents and teachers to recognise communication difficulties and ensure that they somewhere to turn to for help and advice. I CAN gives effective, practical solutions that change lives.
