Your support will help us participate in the Ubuntu 3 Peaks Challenge - a 40 km hike that will take us over the peaks of the three tallest mountains in the UK.
All money raised during this event will support the Ubuntu Education Fund. This organization was founded in 1999 by South African teacher, Banks Gwaxula, and an American university student, Jacob Lief. Currently, Ubuntu has an 80-person staff serving more than 40,000 children, youths and adults with life-saving HIV services and essential educational resources.
We feel blessed to have gained awareness of this incredible organization and hiking opportunity. It will continue to fuel the momentum of our HIV awareness activities in Kazakhstan - while making a tangible impact to HIV efforts in South Africa.
The Ubuntu Education Fund is founded on the philosophy of ubuntu, a universal bond of sharing that connects all of humanity, or “I am because you are.
