David Clark and Donato Esposito are off on the Italian Job Rally on October 20th 2009. Launched in 1990 with the aim of raising money for children in a fun way, the Italian Job has raised over £2.2m of funds in aid of national children's charities.
It's 10 or more arduous days driving a Mini through some of the most spectacular scenery that europe has to offer. Details of the Italian Job can be found here www.italianjob.com . This year the Italian Job's nominated charity is KidsOut - the fun and happiness charity www.kidsout.org.uk .
Their mission statement is as follows:
"To transform the lives of disadvantaged children and young people by providing fun opportunities and positive experiences that work to significantly enhance their wellbeing and outlook for a happier future".
KidsOut also help out families seeking shelter from domestic violence by providing toy boxes for children who have suddenly had to leave their homes.
We and the 'kids' would be grateful for any sponsorship you are able to provide, we need to raise a minimum of £1500.
- £10 gives a child a day out to remember
- £20 helps to fund a birthday party
- £50 helps towards a day out for a whole family
- £100 buys a Toy Box for a re-housed child
- £200 helps towards a fun activity break for a young carer
- £300 trains a storyteller who can help spread fun and happiness to thousands of special needs children
- £350 pays for a one-day music workshop for disadvantaged rural children
- £500 brings the joy of mobility though the purchase of a specially adapted tricycle for a disabled child
We would be delighted to hear from any Companies interested in sponsoring us having their logo/web details displayed on the car.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: KidsOut gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor us now! Thank you in advance for your generosity.
