On the 8th July 2007, this is the challenge that I will be undertaking in
Klagenfurt, Austria.

So far the only event of the three that I have completed is the marathon, which I accomplished last year in
Dublin.
Having never done anything like this, my main aim on the day is to complete the event within the allotted time limit of 17hrs.
You may ask why I have signed up for something like this, having never taken part in triathlon before?
Well the simple answer is, I like a challenge 
At the same time as setting myself a challenge, I thought it would be a great opportunity to raise money for a deserving charity. As some of you are aware I usually shy away from sponsored events. This is because to me, running and training is very much a personal thing that I do for myself.
But, this is different. This is something special as a first time event, and therefore I have decided to help raise money for Bowel Cancer.
Why this charity?
Well, Bowel Cancer has touched the life of my partners’ family, plus Cancer in general has also touched my own family’s life, as it has touched the lives of many people that are close to us.
All I am asking is for people to give what they can. Plus please if you are based in the UK tick the box for the tax relief. This doesn’t cost you anything extra, but does mean the British Government has to cough up a little extra!
