The Injury Minimization Programme for Schools (I.M.P.S.) is a health education programme for year 6 (10 and 11 year olds) children that provides them with the knowledge and skills to;
• minimise injury
• provide basic life support• take safer risks.
The programme consists of the following 3 elements
• a school resource pack• a visit to the Emergency Department at the QMC hospital
