The Indian sub-continent has an incredible variety of landscapes to travel through, and a remarkable motorcycle from which to see them. To travel 1,300 km on the famous Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycle, through Indian countryside is no easy ride!
I will be riding the Royal Enfield on the India Motorcycle Challenge, from Amritsar to New Dehli, in order to raise funds for Riders for Health. Riders for Health do a wonderful job in Africa buying, maintaining motorcycles and training health workers to use them to get to outreach communities who do not have the means available to access modern medicines. The reason motorcycles are used is because of the harsh road conditions in many parts of Africa - they are able to reach remote locations that four-wheeled vehicles cannot. This is also proof that two wheels are better than four!
So please, please donate generously - your kindness means so much to many people.
Thank you so much in advance and on behalf of Riders for Health.
Jay
P.S., Don't forget to tick the Gift Aid box if you're a UK taxpayer! Please also note that some of the money donated will go towards the funding for the trip itself.
