Anthony Richard (Tony) Gough was born on the 25 of April 1962. He was a devoted family man, husband to Helen, raising Gemma (22) , Charlotte (19) , Frazer (12) and Elizabeth (9). He had a close relationship to his parents, Pat and Barry. He grew up in Marden, Hereford where he had become well known for his charm, cheeky smile and friendly nature.
On the 22 of March Tony sadly lost his life to asthma, although only suffering with mild asthma. In memory of Tony, myself, my sister Gemma, my uncle Dan and close friends have decided to do a tandem skydive- something that Tony once said to have ‘loved to see my girls do that one day’ as he often did parachute jumps whilst in the T.A at a young age.
Tony often took part in charity events and from this, I have now decided to raise money for asthma UK, as it is a charity that means a lot to the family. Also, 90% of deaths caused by asthma can be prevented and by raising money for this cause will hopefully make people more aware of action to take when an asthma attack may occur.
We will be doing our sky dive in August – so there is plenty of time to donate! It is easy to donate and takes only a few minutes. Anything is welcome and will make a change.
