Delivers core services across the voluntary, public and private sectors, aiming to raise the profile of volunteering. The Volunteer Centres offer a volunteer recruitment service to appropriate organisations and provide information/advice and training to prospective volunteers.

My story

A team of 10 Inverness Samaritans will be taking on the 2008 Thistle Challenge on 13th September. The challenge is a 16-mile walk in the Cairngorms National Park, including the 3 peaks of Meall a' Buachaille, and is organised by Volunteering Highland.

The money we raise will fund our 24x7 support service for people experiencing emotional distress, despair and suicidal feelings. We offer support by phone, by email and face-to-face. Please help us with your generous sponsorship.
