The Autism Trust
It is focused on the creation of new communities to provide a future for the increasing number of children with autism. These new environments will provide adults with autism a home for life: where they can work, live and improve their skills and talents in a creative and supportive environment.

My personal message:

This year I will be wearing an enormous robot 'costume' that is over 9 feet high, weighs 70 lbs and has stilts buit into the legs! The Iron Giant's eyes light up and his mouth moves so that I can make him 'talk'. I expect it will take me a number of days to get around the course, so look out for me!

I am raising funds for a fantastic charity called the Autism Trust. The reason I chose a robot is that people often think autistic people have a robotic existence, when in fact they are very real people inside with huge potential and the ability to flourish with the right help and support.
