Hi everyone!

Thank you for taking the time to visit our fundraising page - we really would appreciate your support in helping us to reach our minimum target of £1500.00 (no matter how small your contribution may be - every penny helps!).

Starting on October 24th and returning on November 1st, the aim of the Italian Job is a sponsored Mini run to raise money for KidsOut. Any Mini or classic car which featured in the original 1969 Michael Caine film can take part, and teams from overseas are also welcome. We drive through a number of Italy's and Europe's most fantastic cities such as Turin, where we go for a spin on the famous Lingotto roof top test track used in the film. We drive well off the beaten track (no motorways for us), over medieval bridges, through tiny villages, and even onto an F1 Grand Prix circuit.

This years navigational rally starts in Imola, and visits some amazing locations such as Ferrari at Maranello and their private test track at Fiorano, Lamborghini in Modena and Ducati in Bologna, where we will also take part in various challenges and special stages along the way. Eventually the convoy of approximately 50-100 Mini’s (covering in the region of approximately 2500-3500 miles) winds its way back up through France, across the Channel and along the coast to a muster point just outside Brighton. We then receive a police escort down toBrighton seafront, where a charity auction and dinner is held. To date, the grand total of money raised and donated by the Italian Job since 1990, stands at just over £2 million.

Did not dampen the spirits £51 donated for our driving skills test and £85 raffle tickets sold.

BREAK FOR A BIT.....

9&10/8/08 SHOREHAM MOTORSHOW  a mixed weekend.Saturday it rained hard for the afternoon.Overnight on Saturday the marque blew inside out in 70 mph winds.So at 7.30 we had to rescue it and put it back up again with 5 bent poles.It was sooo windy all day.But the sun came out and so did the customers. £207 raised over the weekend.
