On 12th September 2008 the 6 like-minded lunatics that make up 'IT Alive (Just)', Mark Forrester, Larissa Whiley, Stuart Whiley, Sara Hurst, Jon Curry & Jim Bunce, will set off (very early) to conquer the three highest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell) and Wales (Snowdon). Sounds fair enough I hear you say! The only catch is that we have only 24 hours to do the lot!
We've already had our first team bbq where the subject of training was discussed in great length, a rigorous training regime thrashed out over a burger and a few beers. The night concluded with everybody in agreement that many more team bbqs would be needed in the lead up to the big day!
In all seriousness, we're all competitive people and we will be doing our best to get up and down in the quickest possible time. Our designated driver will be zipping us from mountain to mountain (within the speed limit of course) like his life depends on it in order to give us the best possible chance.
The crux of it is, that whilst we will obviously thoroughly enjoy the adventure (as long as it's not wet!), we're raising money for a worthy charity and so we hope that you can dig deep and make a contribution to a great cause.
