The Neuromuscular Centre (NMC) provides a range of services to people with muscular dystrophy and allied neuromuscular conditions in the North West of England and beyond. The NMC is a tangible resource for people who have muscular dystrophy and their families. The centre offers a sheltered working environment, training, physiotherapy, information and emotional support.

My story

Dear family, friends and colleagues,

Mainly out of our own sheer stupidity, we have decided to run the 2009 Flora London Marathon, all 26 miles and 385 yards of it!

We will be taking part as a team of 4 and have chosen to run for the Neuromuscular Centre in Winsford, Cheshire. The charity has the sole aim of improving the quality of life for people with neuromuscular conditions. For more information on the charity itself please visit http://www.nmcentre.com/ and hopefully you will understand why we have chosen to support them. It's a great cause but little publicised and we would be monumentally grateful if you would be so kind as to sponsor us and help to achieve our collective target of £2400 that we have pledged to raise.

Donating is simple, fast and totally secure. Just go to the link below and take it from there. It is the most efficient way to sponsor us, The NMC will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, the Government will dip in their pockets and add an extra 28% to your donation!
