WE DID IT!!  JOHN O'GROATS TO LANDS END!!

We are thrilled to say that Chris Jack and Tim Lammin cycled off from John O'Groats on Sunday 17 August and arrived at Lands End on Wednesday 27 August at 1.15pm, cycling an amazing 924 miles in 11 days.  Apart from a few aches and pains, the journey went smoothly and they didn't even have a single puncture between them!  They were accompanied on this challenge by Simon Jack (Chris's brother), who cycled most of the way with them, and Stuart Jack (Chris's Dad) on his Harley Davidson.  Their wives and children also made the journey in two motorhomes.

As well as the personal challenge, they are raising money for the Wallace and Gromit Grand Appeal (Bristol Children's hospital).  This is a cause very close to Tim's heart, as his daughter Georgina, spent the first four months of her life in the neo-natal unit in Bristol.  She had three operations at the hospital, and received fantastic care from the surgeons. paediatricians and nursing staff throughout her treatment.  Georgina was discharged in November 2007 and is now a happy, healthy 7 year old. Tim has always wanted to do something for the hospital and this epic cycle ride provided just the opportunity.   We hope you will support Chris and Tim.
