Butterwick Hospice Care

Butterwick Hospice Care aims to improve the quality of life for those who have a progressive life limiting illness and those close to them. To offer positive support for every challenge they may encounter during their illness and to see death as part of life's journey. A life limiting illness changes everything, moves all the parameters in your life and the lives of those around you. Butterwick Hospice Care intends to be there for those in this situation and to listen, guide and support the patients and their family. Adult patients are cared for at facilities based in Stockton and Bishop Auckland. Butterwick House Children's Hospice, also located in Stockton, was the first of its kind in the North East and is still the only one accepting children from birth to 19 and providing end of life care. Admissions are made from Teesside, North Yorkshire, County Durham and Wearside.

Thank you for visiting our sponsorship page. If you've got this far the chances are you're about to part with some of your hard earned cash for a very good cause.. thank you!

We are raising money for the Butterwick Hospice in memory of a great husband, dad, grandad and friend Dave Coulson.

The Butterwick Hospice is a charity close to our hearts as it provided great care for Dave who passed away in November 2006. The Butterwick gave Dave and his family and friends great comfort and care when they needed it most. The Butterwick Hospice relies on fundraising to continue the great work they do for many individuals and families in need of care.

Thanks to all of you who sponsored Jack in 2007, we're upping our efforts this year to try to go even further than the fantastic £1500 Jack raised last year.

Please sponsor us and help us reach our target of £1500 and don't forget if you are a UK taxpayer ask for giftaid so the Butterwick receives an extra 28% in tax at no extra cost to you - hurrah!
