Hi everyone,

Myself and my wife Hayley will be doing the first ever English Half Marathon on Sunday October 4th to raise funds for the charity WalkOnceMore, and we are ready to take this challenge head on!

As you all know, i'm now paralysed and confined to a wheelchair due to a spinal cord injury, and all funds raised will go directly towards research to bring about a cure for this debilitating injury. I haven't had a miracle, and i know its a charity "run" but i will be doing it on my handcycle(see pic), which trust me, is definitely not the easy option, and Hayley will be running the full distanceeven though she still hasn't fully recovered from her own injuries as a result of our accident, not to mention the 2 prosthetic discs in her spine from a previous operation, but we're very determined characters and we WILL complete the course!

I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank everybody for getting involved and supporting this cause, and to steal a phrase "every little helps" so please give anything that you can spare, no matter how small.
