My story

On the last day of May I ran the 26 and a bit miles that is the Stockholm Marathon.

It was so, so hot but me and my running buddy Karl Delaine got round in just over four-and-a-half hours.

No, we did not break any records but I was really chuffed to have done my first marathon which I ran to raise money for Diabetes UK in memory of my nan, Joyce Whorton, who had diabetes.

Thank you to everyone who donated cash - I am just collecting the pledges now, but once Archant double my online ammount of £800 I should be doing pretty well.

Thanks,

James
