Hello and thanks for visiting my fundraising page! 

On a cold morning in March I will be setting off to Ouarzazate travelling Via Casablanca to take part in possibly one of the biggest challenges of my life (Excluding looking after a new baby that is fast approaching).

I will be embarking on the Music Makers Sahara Trek, which involves trekking across 100km of sand dunes, saltpans and rocky terrain, camping under the stars, boiling during the day and freezing at night.

The adventure will be an absolutely extraordinary experience but also a tough test of both physical and mental stamina, but I hope to tackle each of these challenges head on as they present themselves. 

As many of you may know, music has always been an important part in my life since I was younger playing the trumpet and Saxophone in various orchestras and ensembles, and now I’m older as I struggle to get to grips with the guitar without making to many people wince in the process.  But even without playing Music has always be something that as always been there.

Being part of this even at my standard has given me a huge sense of fulfilment and enjoyment and I know that it can have an amazing impact on others both adults and children with especially those with special needs or who are from socially deprived areas and all the money I raise in this trek will be raised for Music Makers and will go towards funding music therapy and education projects throughout the UK
