What seemed like a good idea a few months ago is rapidly becoming a reality - I am going to be cycling from Middlesborough to Yeovil !!

It has been a little while since my last cycling adventure and fair to say that the training schedule this time around has been severly hampered by the exceptional amount of rain and wind that we have had so far this year.

However, I am joining forces with about 70 other riders who together are aiming to raise £30,000 for our chosen charities of St Margaret's Hospice, Prostate Cancer UK and Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust.

We will be cycling over 4.5 days in stages of: DAY 1 Middlesborough-Leeds, DAY 2 Leeds-Nottingham, DAY 3 Nottingham-Stratford on Avon, DAY 4 Stratford on Avon-Bath and DAY 5 Bath to Yeovil in time for kick-off (12.15) of YTFC v Middlesborough - the final game of the season.

All donations, large or small, will be gratefully received and will help to make the ride really worthwhile.
