My story

I'm going to be running the 2012 London Marathon. If I keep saying it enough I might even start to believe it myself. I'm petrified!

But I'm sure I'm going to get through it - with your help - knowing that the money you helped raised will assist the most fantastic of charities to continue their work.

The Esther Benjamins Trust cares for 100s of Nepalese children who have been the victims of the cruellest of faits, including child slavery and forced imprisonment. Seriously. Don't just skim over those words. Think about what they really mean - this is really happening.

Apart from giving these children a chance in life - shelter, food and an education - EBT are working hard to change laws and attitudes to protect kids in the future.

Working for the charity in Nepal was a life changing experience for me. These kids are real. I've heard their stories - most of them start with horrific tales of sexual and physical abuse. But all of them end happily with a bright future in the care of EBT.

I will be working hard for months to train for this Marathon. I would like to ask that you please think very seriously about pledging an amount now and offering a donation for the next 3 months, 6 months, a year, whatever you can afford.

Dhanybhad - Thank you for helping make this world a better place for children.
