Story

Mental and physical pain, fear and endurance. Must be time for Tough Guy.

James Villarreal, Lee Kemp and Colin White are the first members of a growing team of Birmingham Entrepreneurs running the event in the depths of Winter for Birmingham Children's Hospital.

The Causes:

Every year over 225,000 sick children from across the UK are treated at Birmingham Children's Hospital. Many face incredibly difficult circumstances. Their stories of courage, determination and hope are truly amazing. We'd like to help them help more children.

The event requires us to give 50% to the event's chosen charities which are Help The Heroes Sanctuary, Horse Sanctuary, Wheelchair Bound and Kids Off The Streets.

The Event:

Tough Guy is simple. Its a long run followed by an assault course. Some of the obstacles are on fire, many are underwater, all are gruelling in the extreme.

Thanks for helping us help.

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
