I have decided to do a 10 mile run from Gilchriston farm, which is near to the Ward's house, to Oxenfoord castle which is just outside Pathhead and where the Dalrymple's live. I wanted to do this for the charity "changing faces" as James Partridge came to give a talk last year to my year at Harrow and even at that time I was touched by how some people in this world are so dismissive of people with dissablities and I wanted to help support "changing faces" by any means possible. It turns out I'm running.
Last week James Partridge, who founded "changing faces" read on the television for the Five News' lunchtime bulletin every day from Monday 16 November at 12.40 pm. You can see this if you click onto the changing faces site. He did this to see how many people would change the channel. There is a poll on their website asking whether you would even change the channel if you saw this face.
I am hoping to do the run in under one hour and thirty minutes,taking the steep hillls into account!
