Chris, Jamie and Darren will be running the inaugural Brighton Marathon this year for a charity very close to Jamie's heart.
HemiHelp is an amazing charity that relies 100% on donations and provides the most incredible advice and support to families with children with Hemiplegia.
Jamie's eldest daughter, Holly has right sided Hemiplegia, which means she is partially paralysed down her right side. The advice and support given by Hemihelp has led to ground breaking surgery at Great Ormond Streets to cure her epilepsy and has allowed her to enjoy many activity days focusing on music, drama and sport.
Jamie failed to meet his time target of 3:15 at last year's London Marathon so will be having another go this year at Brighton.
This will be Chris' first time at this distance although has attempted various challenging mountain runs in the past so this should be a walk in the park (or a run by the sea). His goal will be to come in under 4 hours.
As for Darren - he is in peak physical fitness, and there is no doubt that he will thrash the other 2 and come in with a personal best time way under 3:15 - but he is younger than Jamie!!!
This year EMI will be doubling the first £500 raised by donations so this is an easy way to make every £10 donation become £20 - what an easy way to double your money!
Thank you all,
Jamie, Chris and Darren.
P.S. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
