Thanks for visiting my page. I am running the Bath Half Marathon on the 7th March in order to raise money for the charity 'Child Poverty Action Group'. Please donate if you can spare any money - even £1 will be great! I have outlined the charity below so you know what your money is going towards.
CPAG provides information about low-income families and the policies that affect them. We monitor official poverty statistics and carry out research, providing evidence of the shortcomings of the social security and tax credits systems in regular briefings to government ministers, MPs and the general public.
Their aim is to:
Raise awareness of the causes, extent, nature and impact of poverty, and strategies for its eradication and prevention;
Bring about positive policy changes for families with children in poverty;
- Enable those eligible for income maintenance to have access to their full entitlement.
