In August 2001 four of us rode from John O'Groats to Land's End. It was a great achievement but we always had the idea we wanted to do something else. At the time Biarritz to Barcelona seemed like a good idea.

Seven years on I thought , let's see who is still up for it and, this time, let's see how many more people we can get.

It turned out that loads more were interested and that we had the potential for raising a whole lot for the Children's Trust.

We raised a fair bit the first time, this time we feel that we can make a really big contribution.
