The Gorilla Organization works to protect the endangered mountain gorilla in its native habitat. It also works to ensure that local people benefit from their unique natural heritage. The Organization, founded by the late Dian Fossey who lived with the gorillas, is involved in education, conservation and public awareness.

My story

Dear friends,

I have decided to support my veggie mates, Great Gorillas. There's only cca 720 Mountain Gorillas remaining in the wilderness and vanishing rapidly.

The Great Gorilla Run for salvation of this species and their natural environment is taking place on 27.9.2008 in London. Please have a look at http://www.greatgorillas.org (don't miss the video there). On that page you also find more information on how your money will be used.
