Raising money for Action on Pre-Eclampsia

Pre-eclampsia is a serious disease of pregnancy, affecting up to 10% of pregnancies and leading to the death of around 1,000 babies and 6 women each year in the UK. APEC aims to raise awareness, improve care and ease suffering caused by this potentially devastating condition. HELPLINE: 02084274217

UPDATE! - Unfortunately I have injured my knee/back (not sure which - MRI scan pending) and will be unable to run this year. I am hoping to defer to next year so please continue to donate as this will still be my charity.

I am running the London Marathon to Celebrate My 40th and help rasie money for this very needy charity.

Any woman who has suffered Pre Eclampsia knows how distressing it can be. The life of both the mum and baby are at risk. APEC works to provide research and information to prevent and discover why Pre Eclampsia occurs. Helping with support of mums and babies alike it is a really worthy charity, and as one of the smaller charities needs as much recognition and funds as it can get!
