Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As some of you will know, I intended on doing the Great North Run last October, but was stupid enough to sprain my ankle a month before, and couldn't take part.
I am, however taking part this year, and making sure that I walk down every step in flights of stairs, rather than just thinking I have.
To those that sponsored me last year, thank you very much, and don't worry, I'm not asking you to dig into your pockets again for loose change. St John Ambulance have kindly said that any monies raised last year will go towards my total this year.
For those that don't know what St John Ambulance does ...
St John Ambulance in England (and the Islands) is the country’s leading first aid training organisation and first aid provider. They provide First Aid at a range of events, from concerts to sports events (which is how I first "met" them - collapsing from dehydration after the London Marathon in 2007).
The boring (but important) part ...
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blurb - I would really appreciate your sponsorship!
