My story

I am back from my annual solo cycle trip for Christian Aid my arm is still a bit wonky after being broken at Easter but held up well!!

I made a grand tour of our United [still!!] Kingdom to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee. Starting from Winchester and riding through England and Wales... ferry to Ireland... ferry back to Scotland and return to England! 1,109 MILES in just over 2 weeks. Many highlights perhaps especially praying for PEACE in the Catholic Cathedral in Armagh which faces the Protestant Cathedral on the opposite hill. As well as financial and practical aid, Christian Aid fosters the peace process which enhances the opportunities for advancement in Developing countries too

It RAINED every day except 1!!...But that keeps our kingdom GREEN!! Nevertheless a really interesting trip

Do please continue to donate .

Poverty is an outrage against humanity. It robs people of dignity, freedom and hope, of power over their own lives. Christian Aid has a vision - an end to poverty - and we believe that vision can become a reality.
