WE DID IT!!

Wet would be an understatement but at least we had very little wind! After an anxious time before the start when Susie and I thought we would never find each other amongst  19,498 other runners, we did meet up in the rain and mud and kept running for the entire race. At the 9 mile mark Susie decided that a sprint finish was in order and we crossed the line together in 1 hour 46 mins. Not a bad time all things considered! We were delighted!

Susie has now completed her first week of treatment, not easy, but Friday was better than Monday and it's one week down with 5 to go.

The money is still coming in and we hope to have raised around £2000, a fantastic amount in just over 4 weeks!. Many, many thanks to you all for your support and generousity, we will let you know our final total in due course.
