About my charity : Power International Power International
POWER International works with all people with disabilities in poorer countries of the world, assisting and empowering them to participate fully in society. This may involve providing mobility devices (artificial limbs etc), self-employment opportunities, training, awareness-raising, and other tools for self-reliance. We have nationwide programmes in partnership with local disability organisations, in Mozambique and Zambia, and Laos in SE Asia.

My personal message:

Hello everyone - in a burst of optimism I signed up to run the British 10 k London Run on July 6th. If you are able to sponsor me that would be great!

The money raised will go towards the work of POWER International. This charity works with people who have disabilities in Zambia, Laos and Mozambique by helping to restore mobility; supporting human rights work; and offering skills-training so that people with disabilities can earn a living.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. If you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
