WALK THE WALL - CHINA 2009
I DID IT!!!!! Thank you to everyone who has sponsered not only me but all those who took part on the China Challenge 2009 for Macmillan. Not only was it an amazing experience of a lifetime but between us we have raised over £150,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support which will make such a big difference to those people living with cancer.

Mid-Life Crisis! - I'm going to Walk the Wall!
When I got to my 40th birthday I never thought I'd be doing this! Not only will I be embarking on one of the most challenging events in my life (apart from looking after my 4 children!), but doing so for such a fantastic cause, and in my case, in the memory of my Dad and Brian's Mum and Dad.
WoW! What a fantastic holiday I hear you cry!! But trust me, this is no picnic! When they call this a challenge it's exactly what they mean! We will be walking for 7/8 hours a day, over rough, often very steep terrain - this is no walk in the park. At the end of the day when the blisters are throbbing and our legs have turned to jelly we then will have to set up camp and erect our own tents (this could take some time in my case!)
But I will not be alone! Along side me I will have 2 of my best buddies: Sharon and Sarah, who are also raising money for Macmillan and fortunately are as mad as I am - believe me it helps!
I really do appreciate any donation you can make to this worthy cause and help me to find my way to China.
