As some of you may remember Gail was our flower girl all those years ago....... Gail is now a primary school teacher and, along with her husband, also helps run a small charity organisation called VESL (Volunteers for Educational Support and Learning). Gail and Ian have a great passion and committment to others who are less fortunate and hopefully we can help them continue their fantastic work. - Janet and Stuart
"A word from VESL" - VESL's charitable aim is to set up and run worthwhile projects in some of the neediest rural communities across Sri Lanka, India and Thailand. VESL's projects range from sending teachers to under resourced rural schools to working in orphanages for rescued street children and hospices for HIV infected children. Janet and Stuart have kindly offered to use the special occasion of their 25th Wedding Anniversary to help raise money for VESL. As a result VESL will establish a special fund and money raised will be put towards a new project. This could be anything from buying much needed teaching resources for rural schools to helping fund the development of an orphanage or facilities at a hospice for children.
