My story
Firstly, a BIG thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
What I am asking for: Please help me raise money for the Donald Woods Foundation charity by sponsoring me to run the British 10km in July. No donation is too big or too small.
What I am going to do: Run The British 10km on 12 July 2009, amoungst others. (watch this space!!)
What a great opportunity! I get to run races in London whilst raising money for a super good cause, not only back home...but even closer to heart...my home region! Since the Eastern Cape is of the poorest in SA, its in desperate need of all the help we can muster up.
On a more personal level, I will continue to support and volunteer for this charity upon my return to SA.
To date the Donald Woods Foundation have built seven clinics for HIV, TB and Orphans and Vulnerable Children. For more info on the work they do please visit: http://www.donaldwoodsfoundation.org/
Any donations would be so much appreciated since I know its not the easiest time to afford charity
