Today is Feb23rd only a week to go!!! I will be with the other 17 trekkers at Heathrow this time next week.
I climbed Snowdon last weekend as part of the training it was just amazing - the weather was fantastic and the views from the top breathtaking - and I don't like heights
Will try to add more over the next week before I set off with my trusty duck
Jan (and maybe get proper photo on here!
Today is the 28th January in 5 weeks time i will be in New Zealand trekking - scary!!! but exciting. Training increasing and sponsor forms out an about. If you're here for the first time please dig deep and sponsor me loads of dosh.
thanks to all who have paid so far and those who wish me luck.
For those of you who don't know me personally, a little about the last couple of years. (I don't want your pity or anything like that only your money) .
I had breast cancer, chemo and radiotherapy from September 2004 to May 2005, and decided to take back control. I determined to get fit again so did the Meningitis 5 valleys walk September 2005 (my mum had Meningitis a few years ago) In November 2006 I did a 10k walk for breast cancer care and my next challenge is this one to prove to myself I can do it... a six day trek across Abel Tasman National Park, Mt Robert and Mt Fyffe in New Zealand!
SO ALL I WOULD LIKE FROM YOU IS YOUR MONEY DONATED!
This is the next stage of my own rehab to get myself completely fit. It's my challenge to me to do this and to hopefully exceed the target of £3,500.00 by lots. Of course to do this I need you all to help so please dig deep and sponsor me online.
I will keep this page updated (sort of) with my progress

Tuesday 13th November 2007
Hi eveyone who visits this page,
My training is slow but improving. Same as the fund raising, am getting very good at unpacking and repacking for car boot sales, its quite an art.
As you can see I now have a photo of my trekking companion, cheap to keep doesn't need food or drink and very light to carry also doesn't answer back and can keep secrets!!!
Well will put a little more on the page when I can but currently not enough hours in the day.
Bye for now

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Meningitis Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
