My story
1 in 8 women will experience some form of breast cancer in their lifetime.
35 women are diagnosed with breast cancer everyday.
1000 women a month lose their life to breast cancer.
Breast cancer is now the most common form of cancer in the UK, affecting more than 40,000 women and over 300 men each year, but with the progression of modern medicine and the continual contribution of charities such as Walk The Walk, 8 out of 10 breast cancer patients win their battle.
This year we're joining the battle and participating in the Playtex Moonwalk in London, on the 17th May 2008. The Moonwalk is a 26.2 mile marathon, power walked through London at night, to raise money for the Walk The Walk charity.
In order to have the biggest impact possible we need your help. However big or small, your contribution will make all the difference and help to change, and save, lives worldwide.
