Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Hi my name is Jason Pinkett. I will be walking the West Highland Way on August 25th - 30th 2011. I will be doing the walk to fulfill a personal goal of mine, but also to raise funds CMT UK.
This charity's mission “Working to support those who are affected by Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease, also known as Hereditary Motor and Sensory Neuropathy or Peroneal Muscular Atrophy" This disease affects three members of my family and this is why i have chosen to support this charity.
I would like you to close your eyes and think back to a day where you have felt absolutely shattered. Now take that shattered feeling and double it and then add muscle fatigue, tightness and pain as well as other associated symptoms. This is what a typical day for a person that lives with CMT. By donating money to my Just Giving page you are ensuring that more awareness is created of the disease. Please give what you can no matter how small.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
