Welcome to our 'Contact a Family' fundraising page

To those who dont know us, we are brothers Jason and Jonathan who have recently secured Golden Bond Charity Places, on behalf of 'Contact a Family', for the 2009 Flora London Marathon, which we intend to complete in memory of 'Our Amazing Brother - Richard', who fell asleep on the 23rd February 2007, aged 24 years.

Richard suffered from Microcephelia and fought daily for normality, but without the support from our parents (Sue and Shiner) Richard wouldn't have been able to become the man he became.  Our chosen charity 'Contact a Family' offers not only assistance to the disabled, but to the parents and carers who until recent years have been up against the system and so called 'Red Tape' that comes with it.

Now to the bottom line; We have achieved the easy part by gaining a place in the FLM!!!  What we now need is the support from kind people like yourselves in helping smash our substantial target of £5000, something we will not achieve without your support.

YES!!!  It sounds a big ask, but with our dedication to this event/charity, with your donation(s) and for the memory of 'Richard' the goal is more than possible.

26.2 miles is something that Jonathan and I have never attempted before and its proving to be a daunting mental task let alone physical one, so please, please, please leave us some incentive (however small) and be part of us making a difference to the lives of many disabled families within the UK.
